I don't know who wrote this note, but I believe the lady on the left is Ruth Pierce of Pomeroy, OH (see picture #1314). If so, this picture may have been sent to Roy by his WWII army buddy Albert Werry of Ohio. The other lady is unknown. If the above is true, this may have been about 1946.
